For this ‘Let’s Talk About It’, we have teamed up with a fellow Black Woman Working, Cheryl-Lyn Bentley of the Break Concrete Podcast. Break Concrete Podcast centres on the experience of Black Women Working in the States and we are discussing the B-Words: British Culture, Black Lives Matter and Burnout for us and in comparison to our stateside sisters. 

We chat about how the current events ranging from remote work, coronavirus lockdown, and racial unrest lead to burnout, and how some of these issues are showing up and impacting Black women in the U.S. and the U.K. We also take a look at the difference in work culture between the U.K. and U.S. and Black women professionals can find a happy work life balance.

Oh! Yes we are back again, we just can’t stop talking. In this spin-off episode we are continuing the conversations bought by black women in show business over the last few weeks, discussing both racism and sexism in the workplace.
